hiies agan everyone!!!
i'm back after sooo long...
neva online eva since da last postin...
10 days sia!!!so long...can go to guiness world's book of records!!!hahax.lame
gonna write bout chinese orchestra today...
it will be kinda long post so get eur butts warmed up!
i got into chinese orchestra in da beginning of da year.
den we had an "instrument" try-out...
lettin us familiarise wif all da instruments around,also wantin our seniors to choose da cream of da crop for their instruments...
we tried out LOTS N LOTS N LOTS!!!
however,i'm nt gd at any lorx...
so sad.
den came da dae of death...
our fates lied in da hands of dose papers...
we held our breaths with anticipation n fear.
as names were read out to da confirmed juniors of dat particular instrument,
huixin n i grasped to da last shimmer of hope...
however hard prayed,we still did not get into da choice(secret!!! :) ) dat we wanted.
den,
we were told to choose an instrument dat still had vacancies...
we chose 笛子.
BUT,
many people also chose 笛子...
more dan ever in history's name.(6 to be exact)
so we had a slim chance.
there were only 4 places left...
we had to snatch whatever chances we had...

all of us were given a 笛子 to blow.
we were expected to produce a sound...
AND DA BOTH OF US DID IT!!!

BUT!!!

all of us 6 could do so...
da seniors said dat it was
a miracle...
dat all of us could grasp da basic technique of producing a sound....
i wonder if dey r lying....
den,
dey chose juniors for both types of 笛子
[there are 2 types.梆笛(bang di)and曲笛(qu di).da former produced a higher pitched sound while da latter produced a mellow one]
when it came down to the last vacancy,
dey told us to go thru da test again as dey couldn't make up their mind.

dey chose hilary,our classmate,in da end...
hui xin n i were rejected once again...
